The Selections Process
Client Brief
We contact the client to understand their preferences, style, functional requirements and desired aesthetic for the space. We will discuss the scope of work, such as space planning, material selection, furniture sourcing, and project management.
Selections Consult
The client will visit the studio where we will present the client with material selections for their project. These include; paint colours, tiles, cabinetry, flooring, tapware and other finishes. Using a collaborative approach with our clients, we will put together a mood board using our samples libraries and digital resources.
Final Selections
We will collate the selections made from the consult and then present this to the client, seeking their final approval. We will address any concerns and make any modifications the client may request. This collaborative process ensures that the client's vision is incorporated into the project.
Specification Schedule
We will finalise the selections and create a comprehensive specification schedule. This document includes detailed information about each selection, such as brand, colour, size, and any special instructions for installation or ordering. We will then provide all relevant parties (builders, architects etc) with the specification schedule.
Finishing Touches
Belmont will maintain contact with suppliers and contractors to ensure the smooth procurement and installation of the chosen materials. They will provide the necessary specifications and coordinate delivery and installation schedules to ensure timely completion of the project. Upon the completion of the project, the designer will complete a final walk through with the client.
